Employee Training

In addition to having a good agronomic plan for the golf course it is equally important to have well trained employees to implement the plan. Each employee, prior to starting their employment on the Turf Care Staff goes through a three-day training and orientation program. The program covers the various aspects associated with health and safety, equipment operation, golf course etiquette, and general responsibilities among others. This training program covers but is not limited to the following:

Conducted under the supervision of a professionally trained firefighter, our fire safety program includes the safe operation of a fire extinguisher.
