Seed Head Supression on Fairways
Published June 6, 2005

As an experiment, we decided to treat a portion of #17 fairway with the same product we used to suppress seed heads on the greens . The results are dramatic! In the treated area there are virtually no seed heads and the treated area is darker green. I encourage the members to take a look at the right side of the fairway on #17 to see if you notice a difference. Have a comment, let me know.

"I won't even start a golf course design project without having the superintendent on board to make grass decisions, slope decisions and tree decisions. Designing a golf course as a team effort is fun to do and fun to play."
