Root Pruning

Earlier this year we had pruned the tree roots along the fairways as well as many other areas surrounding the greens and tees. This photo (taken after a series of sunny dry days) clearly shows the fruits of our labor. On the tree side of the pruning line the grass is suffering from drought stress induced by the numerous tree roots competing for water. On the fairway side of the pruning line the grass is doing just fine.
