Published March 14, 2006

While continuing our tree maintenance program we discovered a golf ball burried deep inside this tree branch. After being hit, the ball must of settled in the crotch of this tree. Over the years the tree had grown around the golf ball completely enveloping it. By chance, this ball was discovered after it was cut in half with a chain saw.

"Golf courses. The conditions of the golf courses. I think that's the largest improvement I've seen over the years, without getting into the equipment part of it. Superintendents have done marvelous jobs getting these golf courses in shape to play tournament golf and for everyday golfers."
