I know I've probably beat this subject to death over the years, but there is an ever growing awareness that ball marks are an unnecessary evil plaguing putting greens across the country. It's becoming such an issue that some researchers are devoting time and resources in regard to the issue of ball mark repair. In short, the conclusions in several of these studies are suggesting that it's really an issue about educating the golfing community on the proper techniques required to correctly repair a ball mark. This kinda makes me feel good as, for some time now, I've been trying to spread the word that we really don't have to put up with all of those brown spots on our greens and the issue of ball mark repair is simply a matter of improving your technique. So, in that regard, I am suggesting that maybe we all need to take another look at how we repair ball marks. I've included the following links that point to several articles as well as the information I created on our web site. When you get a chance, take a gander and help us to get rid of those unsightly spots on our greens.

All The Best,

Gordon

"If a hole does not possess a striking individuality through some gift of nature, it must be given as much as possible artifically and the artifice must be introduced in so subtle a manner as to make it seem natural."
