Another Hydraulic Leak

Published June 6, 2008

Over the past several years things have been tight and we haven't been able to keep up with our equipment replacement program. Some of the equipment is getting pretty worn and is exibiting signs of fatigue. During the winter months we inspect and service the equipment but it's difficult to catch every flaw, especially something like a partially faulty hydraulic line. This is our fourth hydraulic leak so far this season and I'm hoping it is also our last. We were lucky this time because the leak occurred on a cart path and the grass was spared this time around.

"Often, the very highest recommendation of a bunker is when it is criticized. That shows that it is accomplishing the one thing for which it was built: It is making players think. How often do we hear players criticize a bunker that is placed for a carry as being an unfair one if they cannot carry it?"
