With the remaining sod installed, Frontier Construction is now finished with the tee renovations and has moved on to the next job in Bedford, PA. In spite of several rain events, in just a few days over 4 weeks the project was completed ahead of schedule.
So far we've been able to open several of the new tees. The tees on the following holes are currently open for play: #18, #10, #7, #9, #13 and #15. Within the next two weeks, give or take, we should have the remaining tees back in service.
The comments from the membership regarding the renovations have all been positive. I agree, Frontier Construction did a wonderful job. A big thanks goes out to all of the guys from Frontier for their hard work. I particularly would like to thank the two crew supervisors, Doug and Leon, for making this project a success. Thanks guys!
Although the work has been completed on the actual tees themselves, we still have additional peripheral work that needs to be completed by our in-house crew. This continuing work is mainly on holes #16 and #11 where additional grading and cart path relocation was required. We'll be concentrating our efforts in these two areas over the next two weeks to bring the entire project to a close.
Again, I'd like to thank the membership for their support and patience during the renovations.
