October Events

BROWNS vs STEELERS: Sunday morning, Oct 19, 9:00 shotgun start. Wear your team colors. Tailgate Continental Breakfast at 8:00. Two Browns fans play against two Steelers fans in a Ryder Cup style match. The first 6 holes you play are worth one point (Alternate shot). The second six holes you play are worth one point (Best ball). The final six are worth two points A vs A and B vs B in single matches). All matches added together determine the team winner. The losing team buys lunch ($15 ea) for the winning team. Last year the Steelers scored a last second field goal to eek out a win. Both the Steelers and Browns have away games. Fans of other teams are also invited to participate. If we have an uneven number for the above, you will be placed on one of their teams. If an even number exits, we will create your own match such as the Cowboys vs the World Champion New York Giants or the Pats vs the Dolphins.

ONE MORE STAG (weather permitting). Wed, Oct 29. We do not want you to have to play in the same conditons as our last stag so we are establishing the following guidelines. The weather conditons must be dry and at least 60 degrees. Format is lowest 2 net scores out of four. 12:30 shotgun start, lunch begins at 11:30. Teams may consist of any combination of members & guests. Entry fee: Members-$55, Guests-$75. (Note: Should the weather conditions not meet our requirements and you would still like to have your guests play, we will charge only the $20 green fee).

SENIOR TRAVEL GROUP is playing Lake View on Thursday, Oct 16. 10:00 shotgun. Entry fee of $25 includes buffet lunch. Call Pete Nill, 602-7863(c) or Pat Callahan, 490-9432(c) or sign up in the pro shop. Sign up deadline is Oct 13.
