Hole 1: Par 5

Lake View's challenging 18 holes begins with a bit of a breather: a mid-length par 5 that lets you escape a poor tee shot with one or two well-struck follow-ups.
The ideal place for the tee shot is in the right half of the fairway, leaving you a more open second shot. If you're laying up, go again for the right half of the fairway to leave yourself the best approach shot.
The green features three distinct levels: front left, front right, and back. Don't go over the green - a steep slope will make getting up and down difficult. Far right is also quite bad.
